Hello!

 

Can someone kindly confirm to me what is 5C2B8AA?

 

On [https://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c07927484] this is mentioned as HP 6-ft PUSB cable black (5C2B8AA) for 299V0AA HP Engage PUSB Thermal Printer


It seems like a cable but is it for powering the thermal printer only or is it for powering + data syncing

Based on the description this sounds like an actual proper PUSB cable which will carry data and power. Note the description of the other cable offered which states power only PUSB.
