When I type S/N into HP website screen, I keep getting messages that it is not correct number.

When I type the S/N into the HP website screen,  I get messages that the number is not correct. BUT it is the only number on the label on the back of the printer (HP OfficeJet Pro, 9025e.) Can you help?
