Where can I find HP Solution Center for my new HP Laptop

Hello everybody,

I use HP Solution Center to use my old HP Photosmart Plus on my Desktop Computer (that runs Windows 11). Now I have bought a laptop and would like to use the HP Photosmart Plus on it. It also runs Windows 11. Unfortunately, I do no longer have the installation program that I used on the Desktop. And apparently it is no longer available on support.hp.com, where I'm only told to use the Windows standard program, that doesn't detect my Photosmart Plus as a scanner.

Where could I find The Solution Center software, that has dispappeared from HP Support ?

There are not HP drivers listed for this printer Windows 10 or Windows 11.

Instead, customers are directed to the option to install the built-in Windows drivers to restore basic print function.

Built-in Driver

Old driver is Gone

We see occasional questions about printers for which full driver software installation packages are no longer listed for current (or older) versions of Windows.

The full driver printer software for this printer is no longer listed as available from HP.

When available for the printer and a supported version of Windows, install the Windows Built-in print drivers.

When installed, the Windows print driver provides basic print function.

Complete your scan jobs with a Windows app that works with the built-in driver.

Examples

Windows Fax and Scan: In Windows, search for and open Windows Fax and Scan. Click New Scan, and then select your printer.

Windows Paint: In Windows, search for and open Paint. Click FileFrom scanner or camera.

Windows Scan app: In Windows, search for and open the Windows Scan app. If it is not listed, go to Windows  Scan (in English) to install it.
