Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My paper tray that keeps the paper from flying out of the printer broke off and now my papers fall to the floor.  Where can I find a replacement tray for the printer? I surely don't need a whole new printer for this! Why is this so hard to find?

First go to HP partsurfer https://partsurfer.hp.com/search.aspx

You can confirm there that HP actually offers the part. If there is a part number try Amazon or Ebay. You can also try the HP Parts Store.
