Where can I find Windows 11 driver for HP 1536dnf multifunction printer? I'm running Windows 11 Pro and have attempted to load every software available on the HP site. I keep getting an error message indicating that it took too long which they deemed a fatal error. I really don't want to buy a new printer.

There maybe a problem with your browser or a partial download that prevents a retry.
The full feature driver for windows 11,10,8,7 is here
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL34693/Im-86005-5/hp_M1530_MFP_full_Solution_22049.exe
If a problem reboot or try Chrome, Firefox, Edge or use a different PC and transfer the download using a USB flash
I just downloaded it and the 124mb file took just under a minute. I did not try to install it as I do not have that printer.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought the problem was downloading.
Possibly file system is corrupted. Please look in the windows event viewer for timeout errors or critical errors.
You should first see this
then this
then this
I have to stop at next image as I do not have your printer
I assume you have windows pro or home and not the "S" version
SFC and DISM are both tools that scan and repair corrupted system files. However, SFC uses a cached version of the files, while DISM uses the internet to download and fix the files.
Try the SFC first and if that gives a message that it cannot fix the problem then try the DISM tool.
Let me know what you find out.
