Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8035
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently received an HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 from a friend, brand new, but they couldn't find the setup print cartridges for it. I am trying to set it up with other compatible ink, but it insists I need the setup cartridges. Is there anywhere I can purchase the setup cartridges so that it isn't just a huge paperweight in my office? Or is there any way to bypass the setup cartridges?

HP Recommended

You need to purchase new standard cartridges and then open a case with HP support who will provide a device unique code that will allow you to setup the printer using the standard cartridges.  support.hp.com
