We have an M130fw that produces one thin vertical line down the page whenever we scan or make a copy. It doesn't matter if we use the ADF or flatbed scanner. I'd like to try updating the firmware, but I haven't found any place to download the firmware. Is one available, or does anyone here have any words of wisdom pertaining to this issue?

I already tried the snanner reset by powering on the printer, pulling the power cord from the printer and outlet, waiting 60 seconds then powering the printer back up.

Hi,

Does it happen when scanning from the Flatbed Glass too or may only happens from the feeder?

When you open the flatbed cover, there is a small glass at the left side, try cleaning it as described under the 'Printers with a document scan feeder section below:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-mfp-m130-series/9365370/model/9365374/document/...

There is a transparency plastic at this area, be sure to gently clean above and behind it without removing that part which may damage the feeder.
