I keep getting the Printer Offline error and have traced it to my VPN program ExpressVPN blocking it. I should be able to fix this by excluding the print program from the VPN using split tunneling. I had successfully done this before a while ago, but seemed to have lost all my settings when I changed computers and updated my VPN.
My problem is, I have to specify the program I wish to exclude and I don't know what the print program is called and how to locate it. The only thing programs I could find that looked remotely related are the following, located in C:\Program Files\HPPrintScanDoctor:
HPPrinterHealthMonitor.exe
HPPrintScanDoctorDeploymentMgr.exe
HPSUPD-Win32Exe.exe
HPPrintScanDoctorService.exe
I selected all of them to exclude from the VPN, but it didn't do the trick.
Are any of these the printer program? If not, what is it and how do I find it?
