Hi @MrChappell,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Pin is typically located on a label or sticker on your printer. Here are steps you can follow to find the WPS Pin for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710.
Printer Label or Information Page:
- Look for a label or sticker on your printer. It is usually located on the back, bottom, or inside the printer cover.
- Check for a section labeled "WPS PIN" or something similar. The WPS Pin is often a numerical code.
Printer Information Page:
- Print a network configuration or information page from your printer. This page often includes important details about your printer, including the WPS Pin.
- Refer to your printer's user manual or documentation on how to print an information page.
HP Smart App:
- If you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device, open the app.
- Look for the option to set up a new printer or add a device. The app may display the WPS Pin during the setup process.
Printer Control Panel:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
- Look for an option related to WPS or wireless setup. The WPS Pin might be displayed on the screen.
Router Label:
- In some cases, the WPS Pin may be found on a label on your wireless router. Check the router for a sticker that includes the WPS Pin.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
