Product: HP Photosmart 7760 Photo Printer

Since so many had my problem and I successful installed the printer, I wanted to share my solution. I cannot install drivers from the original cd since it was for win xp and has the infamous "you're not sistem administrator" issue. So I found the original hp software on internet (I think on driverscollection.com). I succesfull installed it. At the end I marked "I'll connect my printer later".

It didn't work yet, but win 11 finally saw the printer. Then I went to windows update, facoltative and drivers updates, and win provided me for a 7760 driver update. I did it, and there you go!

My printer finally works.

It works for win 10 and win 11 too.

It's a shame hp support didn't help me, nor has the original software and driver to download. I also started a chat with an hp assistent. He asked me to install hp smart, that was useless for my problem, and didn't know how to help me.

Hope I can help other users with the same drivers problem.
