Mother-in-law just purchased an OfficeJet Pro 6869 to use with her computer which runs XP. The box says it can work with XP. The CD drive on the old computer will not open up to allow insertion of the driver disk. I have not been able to find drivers off the internet to down load directly to the old computer. I have the printer added to her Wi-Fi. We can print to the printer from an iPhone. I can not get the XP to recognize the existance of the printer. The old printer was connected to the computer via hardwire.
Any help would be appreciated as mother-in-law says learning a new operating system at the age of 89 is not on her list of fun things to do.
Thanks, Don
