Who do I disconnect from a printer that doesn't have reconnect option

How do I disconnect from network when product doesn't have reconnect option only auto conect

Most printers have more than one way to connect the printer to a local network.

Some older or simpler printers might offer a WPS / PIN method for "auto" connect.

I've not ever had to use the WPS method.

I have seen WPS described in the printer user guide for printers on which the WPS method is supported.

The same user guide for that printer normally includes how to connect the printer to your network using other supported methods.

Connections for some printers are limited to the 2.4GHz frequency -- see the Printer's user guide for information.  

For example,

Depending on the printer model and your network,

• Restore the printer's network connection -- for example, if the network changes or the printer gets "lost".

           Network Defaults

           Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer

          Restore Network Defaults / Install / Connect – Inkjet and Laser printers

          HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network)

         HP Smart and USB cable

• Use an Application (HP Smart / HP App) and your mobile device (tablet, phone) to connect the printer to the network.

• Manually connect the printer using either the printer control panel or the Embedded Web Server (EWS).

• If all else fails, consider using Wi-Fi Direct.  The method establishes a limited type of wireless connection between your printer and your device.  Wi-Fi Direct does NOT support Internet (Instant Ink, Cloud, any connection that requires Web Services).    Reference:  HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)
