HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I try to print from anything other than from Word, the printer chops off a half inch from all sides.  How do I get it to print edge to edge?

Hi @G_A_H,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • Was it printing fine before?
  • Was there any recent update on the PC?
  • Have you installed the full feature software on the PC?

While you respond to that, please go ahead and follow the below-mentioned steps:

Update the printer firmware

Borderless Printing is supported by unit:

Make sure the setting is updated on Microsoft Word:

Print A Word Document Without Margins

Please do as follows to print a document without margins.

1. In the document you will print without margins, click Layout > Page Setup in the Page Setup group. See screenshot:

2. In the Page Setup window, change the Top, Bottom, Left and right to 0 under Margins tab, and then click the OK button.

3. In the popping up Microsoft Word dialog, click the Ignore button.

Now you can print your document without margins.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
