Printer HPlaser jet pro MFPM148fdw - Why my printer keep on asking to load tray 1 plain letter when there is already papers in the tray?

Most common cause of this is a mismatch between what the print job sent from the computer wants to print on and what the printer thinks is loaded. For example, you send a print job to the printer as a letter size document and you have tray 2 loaded with letter size paper but you did not set the paper tray settings on the printer to letter size. The printer then realizes that it cannot complete the job with the loaded paper so it asks you to load paper in tray 1. The same is true for paper type. The job is sent to print of HP Eco paper but you have plain paper loaded. I have seen cases where the default paper type on the driver defaults to HP eco type instead of plain paper. If you have not already done so, download the user guide from support.hp.com for help in making these settings.
