Hi @Kenneth72,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8139e All-in-One Printer and laptop both show as online but you're unable to print, try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Restart Devices:

  • Power cycle both the printer and the laptop.
  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a few seconds, then plug it back in.
  • Restart your laptop.

Check Printer Queue:

  • Open the printer queue on your laptop to check if there are any stuck print jobs.
  • On Windows: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and select See what's printing.
  • Clear any stuck print jobs.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your laptop, and then reinstall them by downloading the latest version from HP's website.
  • Make sure the correct printer is set as the default printer.

Check Printer's Network Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is still connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You can print a network configuration page from the printer's control panel to verify the connection.

Run Printer Troubleshooter:

  • On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select the HP printer, and click Manage. Then click on Run the troubleshooter.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • Disable any firewall or security software temporarily to see if it’s blocking the connection between your printer and laptop.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
