Wi-Fi password

I am setting up my printer and trying to link the printer to my Wi-Fi using Bluetooth. The HP smart app is not finding my printer and suggests I go to my settings and select HP set up which I have done but I need a password for the DIRECT D3 HP ENVY 6000 series. Where do I find this?

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

The printer does not actually support Bluetooth as a means to print to the printer using your device(s).

1. Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to your wireless network and you know the Wi-Fi password of your wireless network.

2. If you are using an iOS or Android mobile device, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on. (HP Smart uses Bluetooth to make the setup process faster and easier on iOS and Android mobile devices.)

NOTE: HP Smart uses Bluetooth for printer setup only. Printing using Bluetooth is not supported.

3. Make sure the printer is in the Auto Wireless Connect (AWC) setup mode
