Hi @PRHyre,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you need to reset your printer’s Wi-Fi settings to reconnect it to a new network, here are the steps to do so:
1. Reset the Network Settings on the Printer
Access the Control Panel:
- On the printer's display, navigate to the Settings or Setup menu (often represented by a gear icon).
Find Network Settings:
- Look for Network or Wireless settings.
Restore Network Defaults:
- Find the option to Restore Network Defaults or Reset Network Settings and select it. This will remove the current Wi-Fi configuration.
2. Reconnect to Wi-Fi
Go Back to Network Settings:
- After resetting, go back to the Network or Wireless settings.
Select Wi-Fi Setup:
- Choose the option to set up the wireless connection.
Choose Your Network:
- Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
Enter Password:
- Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted and confirm the connection.
3. Print a Wireless Test Report (if applicable)
- Some printers allow you to print a test page to verify the connection. This can often be done from the Network settings menu.
4. Install HP Smart App (Optional)
- If you have the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device:
- Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer and connect it to the new Wi-Fi network.
5. Test Printing
- Once connected, try printing a test page or document to ensure everything is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
