Wifi reconnection after restoring defaults

I accidentally reset the defaults.  Now the wifi setup wizard does not appear in the wifi setup menu.  How can I set up the wifi on my printer?

I understand you are trying to set up WiFi on your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw after resetting the defaults, follow these steps:
 

Ensure the Printer is On:

• Make sure your printer is powered on and in a ready state.

Use the Control Panel:

• On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Setup menu. This is usually indicated by a gear icon.
• Go to Network or Wireless settings. The exact menu name might vary.

Select Wireless Setup:

• Look for an option like Wireless Setup Wizard or Wireless. If the Wireless Setup Wizard does not appear directly, you might need to select Network Setup or a similar option first.

Connect to WiFi:

• If the Wireless Setup Wizard is available, select it and follow the prompts to connect to your WiFi network. You'll need to enter your WiFi network's SSID (name) and password.

Alternative Method - Using WPS:

• If your router supports WPS (WiFi Protected Setup), you can use this method to connect your printer to the network. On the printer, navigate to Wireless settings and select WPS. Then press the WPS button on your router. The printer should connect automatically.

Install the Printer Software:

• Once the printer is connected to your WiFi network, install the HP printer software on your macOS 10.15 Catalina system if you haven't already.
• You can download the latest HP software from the HP Support website.

Add the Printer to macOS:

• Open System Preferences on your Mac, then go to Printers & Scanners.
• Click the + button to add a new printer. Your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw should appear on the list. Select it and click Add.
