I have a Photosmart 3180 All-in-One printer, scanner, copier. I recently bought a refurbished HP PC with Windows 10 Home version10.0.19044 Build 19044. I have the original CD that came with the printer and when I try installing the driver from the CD, I get these messages:
This system does not meet one or more of the minimum requirements needed to install this product. The installation cannot continue.
Details and Guidance:
The operating system on this computer is not supported. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved.
Current OS: 602.64
Supported: Windows 98 (or Windows 98 Second Edition), Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, Windows XP
I've tried things recommended on the web and I have tried everything on the HP website. Has anyone had any actual success at fixing this? If so, I would be most grateful if you could share that with me. The printer is fine and it's a shame to go back to my old Windows 7 just to use the printer (but at least it works). Thanks in advance.
