HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer series - N911
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer works fine for all of my needs.  Still works fine with my desktop computer running Windows 7 Professional (64-bit).  My laptop computer for work (64-bit) was recently updated from Window 7 to Windows 10.  I can't use the Windows 7 setup disc that came with the printer & I can't find Windows 10 drivers for the 8600 when searching HP Support.

I have two Windows 10 Home  computers (latest version 1709), and the software at http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL40120/bi-108858-4/OJ8600_1315-1.exe installs so that my HP Pro 8600 (on a wifi network) works in all respects, but the program "HP Offocejet Pro 8600.exe" will not load.  That app works properly on computers running Windows  XP and 8.1.  I see from the internet that many people have had the same problem, for years now, and nobody seems to have suggested a solution.

In fact, I discovered a work-around, by entering the URL of the printer (in my case 10.0.0.235) in a browser, but isn't really the answer!
