Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have migrated from an "older" (read as upgraded) Windows 10 machine to a new Windows 10 machine and the printer will install as I can see it in my list of printers, but the printer drivers are not installing and the original install disk won't work because Windows 10 is not supported from the install disk.  I look on the HP site for the printer drivers and it tells me to let Windows self install since it's connecting through USB, but that's not working so I'm stuck in a loop with a printer that is seen but not working.

 

Is there any place where I can download drivers for this printer or is it truly not supported for Windows 10?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers. Follow the steps below:

 

•    Go to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.

•    When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.

•    Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
