I have a new 8025e printer. I need to be able to connect directly to print from a work laptop. Wireless and network printing is disabled. How can I "hard wire" from the laptop to the printer. On the back are two phone plugs, 1 Ethernet plug, and another plug with a plug in it.

Are you allowed to install Printer drivers or apps to your WORK computer ? I used to work on an organization which won't allow employees to print outside work network. I worked from home for 5 years before my retirement but I could not print anything to my printers at home next to me.

Hi,
This is an HP Plus printer, HP Plus printers requires internet connection through the network.
USB printing is possible only once the printer is connected and accessed to the internet, only then you may connect the printer with a USB connection to a computer:
You may also find the HP Plus FAQs below:

A network connection with internet access is a minimum requirement for your printer to work on any operating system
