Hi @MrB1821,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP DeskJet 3630 printer is not communicating with your Windows 10 laptop over a wireless connection, I would request you to please follow the steps:

Restart Devices

  • Turn off the printer, router, and laptop.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on.
  • This clears temporary connection glitches.

Reconnect Printer to Wi‑Fi

  • On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button.
  • Go to Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Select your Wi‑Fi network and enter the password.
  • Make sure both printer and laptop are on the same Wi‑Fi band (2.4 GHz, not 5 GHz).

Check Printer Status in Windows

  • Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
  • Right‑click your DeskJet 3630 → See what’s printing.
  • In the menu bar, uncheck Use Printer Offline.
  • This forces Windows to keep the printer online.

Update Drivers

  • Download the latest HP DeskJet 3630 driver package from HP’s support site.
  • Install the Full Feature Software and Drivers.
  • This ensures Windows recognizes the printer correctly.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the wireless settings and select the option to reset network settings.

Take care and have an amazing day!
