Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a WIFI connection between my phone and my HP Officejet Pro 6978 and have successfully printed several 8" by 10"

pictures that were on my phone. I would like to print 4 different photos on one sheet of paper.

Does anyone know if that is possible?

And if so, how?

HP used to have a software which came with every printers and it helped a lot. My last HP printer was donated 2 years ago and HP stopped sending loan printers around therefore I don't know which software we can get with new printers now. But you can work around by using Google Photos to collate 4 photos to one sheet then print.  Or use the following App

More bits of information to consider...

If the photos you took with your phone are now available (stored) in your Windows 10 device (computer),

then HP Smart Windows can print multiple photos on one sheet of paper.

Example - HP Smart - Windows - Multiple photos printed on one sheet

Open HP Smart Windows

Select to Print Photos

Open the folder in which you have stored the photos

Depress and hold the Control Key and click to select the photos you want to print on your sheet of paper.

Release the Control Key

Click "Select Photos to Print"

On the main print menu, select paper size and photo size, too.

Remember: The number of photos you can fit on the paper depends on the paper and the size of the photo.

Select a Layout = Multiple photos per page

Borderless Printing = Off

Scaling = Shrink to Fit OR Crop

TEST both results to see what you like best.

Remember is it "all or not" - you cannot shrink one photo and crop another in the group.

Click into More Settings

Select a Shortcut (these are fed to HP Smart through the installed full driver print software)

Verify / adjust settings

Click OK to save and leave the More Settings menu

When ready, click to Print
