Hi! My printer won't display the proper IP address. It keeps displaying 169.***.***. It used to work completely fine and then it just stopped displaying the correct IP address. I restored it to the factory settings once and already printed out the diagnostic report and it says that it's  a DNS gateway problem. I've also contacted my internet provider and there are no issues with the router.

Hi,

How far is the printer located from your router?

Ensure it is not too far, but not closer than 2 meters (6 feet) too.

 

Click the bottom Wireless icon and then the gear icon, from the menu select Print Reports.

Select Wireless Test Report and a report will print.

 

Please share a picture of the printed report with me via a Private Message.
