I recently received a firmware update notification for HP R70 System Firmware via Windows Update. After installing it, I was prompted to restart my PC to complete the update. However, even after restarting, I still see a yellow warning triangle next to HP R70 System Firmware under the Firmware section in Device Manager.

I'm concerned about whether the firmware update was applied successfully or if something went wrong. Can you please advise me:

  1. Is it safe to uninstall the HP R70 System Firmware from Device Manager and let Windows reinstall it?

  2. Could this cause any issues with my system or BIOS?

  3. Is there a way to verify the current firmware version and check if the update was applied properly?
