Hello,

 

I removed the Printer connected to my laptop as it wasn't printing well. When I tried reinstalling the printer; even after inputting the Printer PIN,  I kept getting the message 'Your printer stopped waiting, try adding it again'

 

Pls help as I cannot install the printer to the system.

I understand that you are facing issues with connectivity. I'd like to help!

 

Are you connecting the printer to a 2.4 GHz network or 5Ghz network?

 

Is it a private (Home network) or a public Wi-Fi connection? Wi-Fi direct? Or Hotspot?
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?


How is the printer connected USB or Wireless? 
What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
Have you done any changes to your router network or software?

Meanwhile, uninstall and reinstall the HPsmart app and see how it goes.

Thanks alot. I upgraded my OS version and set up the HP smart app. Printer is working fine now.
