I have an HP Deskjet 4258e and I downloaded the HP Smart app for Windows 10 to set up the printer wirelessly on my network. The setup seemed to work fine. It setup a printer (HPA58B46 [HP DESKJET 4200 Series]). The issue is that if I send a document to print it just sits in the queue. The HP software says the printer setup is not complete, even though it just completed it and said the printer is ready. I tried turning the printer off for a while.  I tried doing the HP setup again. No matter what it always goes back to saying the setup is not complete even though it is. I deleted the software and drivers and tried a fresh install, and it still does the same thing. This is infuriating that I can get this printer to print. It always says setup is not complete. The diagnose and fix says it found not problems to fix even though it will not print a test page. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

I was able to connect with a live chat agent that was finally able to help me. He installed a different set of drivers. He installed the DeskJet  4200 Series PCL-3 (V4) drivers and now it works!! The chat tech was great. I don't know that I would have figured out to do that on my own without their help.
