Since you've replaced the hard drive, the printer driver may not be installed. Here's what you can do to fix it:

 

  1. Check Connections: Ensure the printer is properly connected to the computer via USB or Wi-Fi.
  2. Download & Install Driver:
  3. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP has a diagnostic tool that can automatically detect and fix common printing issues.
  4. Check Windows Update: Sometimes, Windows can automatically install a compatible driver. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

For further assistance, please provide:

 

  • Printer model
  • Connection type (USB/Wi-Fi)
  • Windows version (Windows 10/11, etc.)
