HP Recommended

updated MacBook Air to O/S Catalina Feb of 2020.  HP Scanner no longer working. Got error message saying the Scanner could not be operated.  Had to remove printer from list of Printers on the Apple laptop after shutting the printer off, removing it from Apple Preferences, then turning it back on and re-adding.  I then used “Open a Finder Window".  Click on Go in Top Menu beside the apple icon (make sure Finder shows at the top left corner beside the apple icon" and select the "Image Capture App" from the applications folder to open the app and check the devices to find the HP printer.  App icon was added to the Dock beside the HP Printer icon.  Now I can just open the app and get a scan right away.  However, I hope that HP updates the software for the printer so that everything works properly again without having to use this work around.
