Hi @Bryce0412,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP all-in-one printer has stopped communicating with your desktop, and both are on the same network. You can follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check Connectivity:

  • Ensure that both your printer and desktop computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. It's important to verify that the network names match on both devices.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer using the power button and then unplug the power cord.

  • Shut down your desktop computer.

  • Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in and power it on. Similarly, restart your desktop computer.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure that the printer is not in an error state. The status can be seen on the printer's display panel.

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams and that the ink cartridges are properly installed.

USB/Network Connection:

  • If your printer is connected via a USB cable, make sure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your desktop.

  • If connected through a network, verify that the printer's IP address is correct and that it is accessible through your computer.

Print a Network Configuration Page:

  • From the printer’s menu, find the network settings option and print a network configuration page. Use this to verify the IP address and network settings.

Update Printer Drivers:

Check Print Queue:

  • Go to the control panel on your desktop, and open ‘Devices and Printers.’ Right-click on your printer and ensure that the print queue is not paused or stuck.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
