auto update fails

Hi All

Printer keeps trying to an automatic update which fails, but because I use instant ink. You cannot turn off this function. When fails it take the printer off line, and you to have skip it from the front panel and 2 hours later it does the same thing.. Open to any ideas, thanks

I have the same issue.  Firmware update fails, stuck in this constant loop of it trying to update itself everyday and then takes the printer offline.  

Can't turn off auto-update as it's greyed out and set by the fact I use HP instant ink.

Is there a manual firmware I can apply.  

MALBECPP1N001.2243A.00 is existing firmware and clearly broken.
