i have original HP ink catriges, not installation ones.

Hi Irwin6, thanks.

on my computer, windows 10, I have installed (USB cable) my deskjet 4100 printer in the past, with the original installation ink cartridges. Due to some malfunctions, i uninstalled the hp sotware from my Windows PC, erased the printer from the PC settings (printers and devices) and tried to reinstall the software. the hp installation proccess gets stuck at the stage it requires the "installation ink cartrage".

how can I skip this stage/ requirement?

or how can I reinstall my hp 4100 printer?

Hi @Yoni_Braun,

Thank you for sharing the above information.

If the hardware was already setup before with the setup ink cartridges, you dont have to setup the hardware again if the printer was not in use.

Install the store bought ink cartridges that you have and make a copy on the printer stand alone.

(Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)
