Hi @JonnyDog

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Yes, you can connect your HP DeskJet 2820e to a MacBook Air running macOS Big Sur. The printer supports macOS 11 Big Sur and offers wireless printing via AirPrint.
Steps to Connect:
Ensure Wi-Fi is Enabled on the Printer
- On the printer’s control panel, press the Wi-Fi button to activate wireless mode.
- If needed, restore Wi-Fi setup mode by holding the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds.
Connect to Wi-Fi Network
- Open System Preferences → Printers & Scanners on your Mac.
- Click Add Printer and select HP DeskJet 2820e from the list.
Use AirPrint for Driver-Free Printing
- macOS Big Sur supports AirPrint, meaning you don’t need to install additional drivers.
- If AirPrint doesn’t work, download the latest HP Smart app from the HP Support page.
Let me know if you need further assistance! I appreciate your patience while we work through this.
