Hi @Tmod5257,

 Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing difficulties pairing your Samsung Xpress M2830 printer with your computer, here are some steps that might help resolve the issue:

  1. Ensure Printer is On and Ready:

    • Confirm that your printer is powered on and the Wi-Fi or network status indicator shows it is ready to connect.
  2. Check Printer and Computer Network Connections:

    • Make sure both your printer and computer are connected to the same wireless network.
    • Verify the network name (SSID) and password are correct.
  3. Install the Necessary Drivers and Software:

    • Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest printer drivers and software for the Samsung  Xpress M2830.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions during installation to ensure your printer is properly connected.
  4. Use HP App:

    • If applicable, download the HP App on your computer or mobile device. It can help with setting up and managing your printer.
  5. Run the Printer Troubleshooter:

    • On your computer, navigate to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners and run any available troubleshooting tools.
  6. Restart Devices:

    • Power down your printer and computer. Restart both devices to refresh their state and attempt the pairing process again.
  7. Check for Firmware Updates:

    • Ensure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can usually update this through the printer’s control panel menu or the HP Support Assistant.
  8. Review Connectivity Settings:

    • Access your printer's network settings to confirm there are no restrictions or blocks preventing the connection.
  9. Use a USB Connection as a Last Resort:

    • If wireless pairing continues to fail, try connecting your printer to the computer using a USB cable as a temporary solution.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
