Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the resume/cancel button's light keeps blinking and the printer doesn't work,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you check what the blinking lights represent?

If you haven't, here's what you need to know:

The printer lights indicate the printer status.

These lights can be on, off, or flashing, depending on the status of the printer.

Issue

Resume light is blinking.

Solution

If the Resume light is blinking, check the following conditions:

  • The printer might be out of paper.

    1. Place paper in the In tray.

    2. Press the Resume button.

CLICK HERE FOR MORE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS.

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

Do get back to me as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve,

That said, If I have helped you resolve the issue,

feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon

followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'

And Have a great day Ahead!
