cannot access shortcuts on printer panel if there are multiple users

I'm able to create shortcuts such as scan to email, one-drive, etc and access these from the printer control panel, however If I have a second user configured, when I access the "shortcuts" on my printer control panel I now get the choice to select the user with the expectation that I'll be offered the shortcuts configured to that user.

That is not the case, by selecting a user it gives me a brief "connecting" message, and then goes back tot he selection of the users, and none of the shortcuts are available in the control panel.

These still work in the mobile app, but Is inconvenient not being able to use these shortcuts from the control panel, I tried EVERYTHING... I'm just not sure if this is an actual feature..

Can anyone confirm you were able to have multiple users access their shortcuts DIRECTLY from the printer control panel?

I can confirm that the additional security works to create / add / restrict access to the printer features.

Access Control is sensitive - Mistakes can result in problems.

Proceed at your own risk.

In general, add the user account to the Printer User Accounts.

Change as little as possible to get the results you need.

The following might be relevant to your situation.

Be careful when changing any settings that involve the additional security on the printer.

It is possible to lock up access – proceed with caution.

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Network > Advanced Settings > Remote Scan > User Authentication

Next,

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Section Security > Access Control > Permissions / Printer User Accounts

Hi,

Those settings suggest what the user is or isnt allowed to do with the printer, but my problem is that for example as a single user, I can scan to cloud, and the moment I add another user, MY USER no longer gets access to the shortcuts on the control panel...
Both accounts are indeed shown for us to select in the control panel, but it goes into a brief "connecting" and takes me back to the user selection instead of forward where I would see my shortcuts in the printer

Are you able to see multiple users directly at the printer? if so do you see your shortcuts once you select the user?

If so maybe I'll do a full reset and follow your instructions to the letter!!!
