toshiba laptop C40D-A
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I have  reinstalled the all the software and drivers using HP easy start again with the same issues :

The blue WIFI light is continuously ON .

1) Printing by USB cable works fine. When I try by WIFI  via the HP 3830 Network   printer device, the documents get stuck in the  print queue. All printer options are unchecked except for default printer (checked for this network printer). HP printer and scan doctor says a device error detected and cannot be fixed with this tool.

2) Tried scanning via WIFI , the scanned  image was sent to my computer but with an associated window from HP Scan  which said  "Unable to communicate with scanner"

3) Have not tried  FAx

all the issues seem to indicate driver issues

Thanks

Thanks

Issue has been resolved. Some went wrong in the initial install and ended up with an extra Network Printer device. So selecting the  extra one did not work.  So the second time round, I  uninstalled and deleted  as many of the  HP stuff I could find then restored my computer back to an earlier time. The I started the whole full  installation process again  using HP easy start.

Happy to say that all seems well now with printing an scanning.
