I've recently changed my wifi and have been struggling to connect my printer to the new wifi. ive tried wps method but it did not work. ive tried through the hp smart app, however when I try to continue setting up a device, it tells me my laptop and printer need to be connected to the same wifi connection. when I try to connect through the printer homepage, I am unable to connect to the printer's wifi direct, I don't get a password error message, im having to renter my password and it still won't connect. im not sure what else I can do.

Hi @Miya2222000,

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are having connectivity issues, and I am glad to assist you.

Restoring the wireless network settings

You can revert the wireless network settings to the default values.

Press and hold the (Wireless) button on the control panel for about 20 seconds. When the (Attention) LED and the (Power) LED start blinking together, release the (Wireless) button.

Follow the steps mentioned on page number 34 in this user guide to connecting the printer to the Wireless network:- Click here

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
