Hi @TS135,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're having trouble connecting your HP Smart Tank 529 All-in-One Printer to WiFi because the "HP-Setup" network is not showing up.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and complete the setup:
1. Check Printer WiFi Status
Ensure that your printer's WiFi is enabled:
- Look at the printer's control panel or buttons.
- If the WiFi light is off or blinking, it indicates that the printer is not in setup mode.
2. Reset Network Settings on the Printer
- Hold down the Wireless button and the Cancel button together for 3-5 seconds until the WiFi light starts blinking. This will reset the network settings on the printer and put it back into setup mode.
- The WiFi light should start blinking, and you should be able to see the "HP-Setup" network in your laptop's WiFi list.
3. Connect to the HP-Setup WiFi
- On your laptop, go to WiFi settings.
- Look for the network named HP-Setup-XX-PrinterName.
- If it’s not appearing, refresh the WiFi list.
- Connect to the "HP-Setup" network and wait for your laptop to establish a connection.
4. Install HP Smart App
- Make sure you have the HP Smart app installed on your laptop. You can download it from here.
- Open the HP Smart app, and it should detect the printer once connected to the HP-Setup network.
5. Complete WiFi Setup
- Follow the instructions in the HP Smart app to complete the WiFi setup.
- The app will ask for your home WiFi credentials, and it will send this information to the printer, allowing it to connect to your WiFi network.
6. Restart Printer and Laptop
If you're still having trouble:
- Restart both your printer and laptop.
- Try resetting the router if the printer is still unable to connect.
7. Check for WiFi Interference
- Ensure that your printer is within range of your WiFi router and that there is no interference from other devices.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
