Hi @Raymond6942,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check the Printhead:

  • Open the printer to access the printhead.
  • Check for any visible obstructions or jammed paper.
  • If applicable, reseat the printhead. This might involve removing it and firmly placing it back to ensure proper contact.

Clean the Printhead:

  • Some printhead issues can be resolved by running the automatic printhead cleaning tool available in the printer’s settings or maintenance menu.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that the printer’s firmware is up-to-date. You can do this through the HP Smart app or directly from the printer if it is connected to the internet.

Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that you are using genuine HP ink cartridges as non-HP cartridges might not be compatible and cause errors.

Reset the Printer to Factory Settings:

  • Sometimes a factory reset can resolve persistent error codes. Look for this option in the settings menu.
  • Note: This will erase any personalized settings.

I hope this helps.
