I have a hp smart tank 7005 and it will not print in colour from my MacBook.

It will print colour from my phone, iPad but not my Mac. There are no options in any of the printer settings to select colour. I have read several comments on here about selecting colour preferences from the printer settings menu but it does not even appear to be selectable from any menu on my Mac.
