Product: HP 15-f2000 Laptop PC series (277G5AV)

I have a new HP laptop. I want to use it with my Brother wired laser printer. The printer is not recognised. I've downloaded the driver but it wont install.  This might relate to the fact that I've been unable to set up my Microsoft 365 system because it won't send me a validation code.
