I reset my DeskJet 2600 all in one because every time I tried to print a coupon I had to run the troubleshooter and or open and close the printer ink door. I finally decided to lookup how to factory reset my printer, however, the old wifi direct password remained, and I can no longer login to the embedded web interface to do basic functions such as change the wifi direct ssid, and many other features. I have researched the matter throughly, and read all the HP support shills ignoring peoples concise concerns and mutering prepared scripted lines. I personally would not risk another scenarion like this, even with a fancy new printer with an android touchscreen interface glued on the front. I will be buying my new printer from another manufacturer, and will likely never buy another HP printer at retail price. I will not be monotoring this thread, so when I return in months or years either a solution will have finally presented itself, or the hardware will be in a landfill, since I cant in good consience sell or donate thie DeskJet 2600 without a proper factory reset and the assurances that the new owner/operator has access to all the expected features.
