Hello, I can't change my HP email address
xxxxxx@hpeprint.com
Despite the technician's help, we haven't found a solution. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi @Cerbére,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand you’re unable to change your HP email address (xxxxxx@hpeprint.com) even after trying with a technician. Let’s go through some steps to resolve this.
Sign in to HP Account
Go to HP Account Login and sign in with your current credentials.
Make sure you’re using the primary HP account email linked to your HP ePrint address.
Check Email Change Option
Once signed in, navigate to Account Settings → Personal Info → Email Address.
If the field is grayed out or not editable, it may be restricted due to your HP ePrint subscription or verified printer association.
Remove Associated Printers Temporarily
In HP Smart or HP ePrint portal, remove any printers linked to your current HP email.
Sometimes the system prevents email changes while printers are associated with that address.
Clear Browser Cache / Try Another Browser
Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, or use a different browser.
Sign in again and attempt to change the email address.
Verify Email Format and Availability
Ensure the new email address you want to use is not already linked to another HP account.
HP does not allow duplicate email addresses across accounts.
Update Email via HP Smart App (Optional)
Open the HP Smart app → Settings → Account → Edit Email.
Some users have success changing their HP ePrint email via the mobile app instead of the web portal.a
I hope this helps.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
Best regards,

Hi @Cerbére,
Thank you for the response.
I understand you’re having trouble finding how to temporarily remove your printer to change your HP email. Here’s how you can do it:
Using the HP Smart App (Windows/Mac/Mobile)
Open the HP Smart app and sign in with your current HP account.
On the home screen, click on your printer.
Look for Printer Settings → Remove Printer (or Forget this Printer) and confirm.
Once the printer is removed, try changing your email in Account Settings → Personal Info → Email Address.
Using the HP ePrint Portal
Sign in at HP ePrint with your current account.
Go to Printers and select the printer linked to your account.
Look for Remove or Deregister Printer and confirm.
After this, return to your HP account settings to update your email.
After Changing the Email
Re-add your printer in HP Smart or the ePrint portal.
Your HP ePrint address will now be associated with the updated email.
I hope this helps.
