change SSID on HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w using HPsmart app (macos, ios)

dear HP team,

i recently changed my wi-fi router and had to change network name / password. my HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1200w  got stuck with the old SSID and i cannot change it using HPsmart app, after i connect the printer to the app using wi-fi direct/IP address. there is no setting in the app that allows me to reset / change the SSID, in order to share the printer over the network by wirelessly connecting it to various devices for printing.

do i need a factory reset to change the SSID? if yes, how do i reset the printer to factory settings? or, is there a way of changing SSID without resetting?

i need an urgent reply, if possible. thanks in advance, murat.

Press Cancel button and Wifi button for at least 3 seconds to Reset your Wifi printer
