Hi @queenie325,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To change your HP Envy 5660 printer from two-sided (duplex) printing to one-sided printing, you can follow these steps.

From Windows

Open the Document: Open the document you want to print.

Print Menu: Click on File and then select Print.

Printer Properties:

  • In the Print dialog box, select your HP Envy 5660 printer.
  • Click on Printer Properties or Preferences. This might be labeled slightly differently depending on your application.

Set to One-Sided Printing:

  • Look for a section that mentions Print on Both Sides or Duplex Printing.
  • Change the option from Print on Both Sides to Print on One Side or Single-Sided.
  • Click OK to save your changes.

Print the Document: Now click Print to print your document.

From Mac

Open the Document: Open the document you want to print.

Print Menu: Click on File and then select Print.

Printer Settings:

  • In the Print dialog, select your HP Envy 5660 printer.
  • Look for a dropdown menu that says Copies & Pages or may have the name of the application you're using.

Set to One-Sided Printing:

  • If you see an option for Two-Sided, uncheck it or change it to One-Sided.
  • Adjust any other settings as needed, then click Print.

Note:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. You can check the HP website for any updates specific to the Envy 5660.
  • If you have any print presets saved, make sure to modify those as they might override your settings.
  • If the options are grayed out or not accessible, try printing from a different application or restarting your printer and computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
