change network on 2504

Have a new router and need to install my Laser Jet Tank 2505dw. W11 print install can't seem to find it. Need instructions on how to install on my pc.

Hi,

Since you changed the router, the printer needs to be connected to the new Wi-Fi network first. Windows 11 may not find it if the printer is still connected to the old router or is not on the same network as the PC.

Please try this order:

1. Place the printer near the new router and make sure the PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer, then reconnect it using the HP app / HP Smart:

3. Download and install the HP software/driver for the HP LaserJet Tank 2502–2506 printer series:

4. During setup, choose wireless/network setup and let the HP app find the printer.
5. If the printer is still not found, try WPS if your router supports it:
• Press the WPS button on the router.
• On the printer, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
• Wait for the printer to connect.
6. After the printer is connected to Wi-Fi, add it in Windows 11:
   Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > Add device

Also make sure the printer is not connected to a guest Wi-Fi network, because Windows may not detect it if the PC and printer are on different networks.
