- I tried doing a cold reset after a power outage. I was in the middle of doing the reset power outage has locked me out it will not take password or service code. it is a Brick right now. There has to be a different way to factory set.... I have tried the steps below , it lets me get to " Continue, Administrator, and Start up Options" but it still asks for my password that is no longer working since my power outage.
Touchscreen Control Panel
Turn on the printer, wait for the 1/8 to appear and press the center of the touchscreen to enter the preboot menu.
Scroll down and select “ADMINISTRATOR”
Scroll down and select “STARTUP OPTIONS”
Scroll down and select “COLD RESET” (will put an “X” to show selected)
Use the back arrow or home button to main menu and select “CONTINUE”
