HP Recommended

My computer and printer are no longer connected.  I deleted the printer and then tried to add it back in, and I get the error message below.  It did show up on the list of printer options to add.  I have an HP Envy 5540 and a MacBook Pro with MacOS Monterey 12.7.6

 

An error occurred while trying to add the selected device.
